RESEARCH
LACC
has carried out research
on legal and human rights issues related to women and
children. In the past, it conducted legal research and
survey study in rural villages of four regions to
ascertain the root causes of the problems faced by the
women. It conducted Feed back collection program on
Women’s Property Rights in 44 districts of Nepal. In
1996, it conducted a comparative analysis study of laws
concerning property rights and women's issues in
the neighbouring and relevant countries. It has
published legal journal and books on law.
LACC
is currently undertaking, a research project on "Women of Nepal: Laws
and Policies Affecting Their
Reproductive Lives" This project is sponsored by the
Center for Reproductive Law and Policy (CLRP) , New
York, USA
